a lot has happened today. first i left house without my hp and only realised when i was almost at henry park. managed to get trey’s birthday present together. talked with meidan and sharity mostly about things worth mentioning. always seem to philosophy-sing about relationships with boys. what do couples talk about? is it dangerous if they just talk about shallow things and never actually have serious conversations?

i think so. you need substance in a relationship and that will come from knowing more things about another person through profound conversations. for me it would be semi-profound and not profound. haha. then something happened today that kinda disturbed me. got inspiration from a friend. really thank God that i’m so blessed with her. she told me about a covenant she had made with God regarding relationships. so far i have had my promises made to myself that i won’t get into relationships til, at the most, year 3. but what is the use in that? a promise to yourself is worthless compared to the promise you make to God. of course a promise to God would mean much much more indicating that your time, strength and resources, otherwise spent on that special someone, would be focused on Him. it’s a load but really keeps you on track i guess. shan’t make a haphazard promise. shall pray about it and commit it to the Lord. He deserves it after all he promised to us.
